Account Executive

Full-Time in New York City, NY - Remote OK - Mid Level - Sales

About this role:

WayBetter is seeking a highly motivated salesperson to join our growing team. As Account Executive you will lead and manage deal closures with Influencer partners for WayBetter’s apps, (DietBet, StepBet and WayBetter). As one of the first touch points with our partners, you will be responsible for championing WayBetter’s partner value proposition and showcasing everything that we have to offer. You will develop an intimate knowledge of our products, be able to answer difficult questions, and create mutually beneficial deals that lead to long-term partnerships and high growth. This position is full-time remote. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

What you’ll do:

  • Close deals! Your day-to-day will consist of video pitch calls (set up by an SDR) with the world’s top health and wellness experts.
  • Create mutually beneficial long term partnerships that lead to customer growth and partner retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop pitch materials that close deals and positively reflect our brand.
  • Share learnings from pitch calls with the team at large
  • Develop a deep understanding of WayBetter’s products and value propositions
  • Become an expert on influencer marketing and the health and wellness space

Your experience looks like:

  • 3-5 years in a sales role with a proven track record closing deals with individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, persuasion and listening skills.
  • Solid understanding of the influencer marketing landscape including new trends and deal structures.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools (bonus points if you’ve managed accounts and/or manage your own brands).
  • A natural salesperson who thrives in a goal-oriented environment. You love the thrill of the chase and excel at exceeding goals.
